Hands-on technology, engaging conversations and plenty of curious questions: At the science day of the Agricolagymnasium in Hohenmölsen, we had the pleasure of showing the pupils just how diverse the world of automation technology is – and what career opportunities await them at a regional company like GESA Automation GmbH.
At our stand, young people were able to chat with our staff, find out more about our training occupations and gain an insight into the daily work routine of a modern automation company. Whether for an internship, apprenticeship or later career entry, our goal was to make technology tangible, spark interest and show perspectives.
A special highlight was the visit of the Minister of Education of Saxony-Anhalt, Jan Riedel, who took the time to speak with the exhibitors.
As a regionally rooted company, it is particularly important to us to introduce ourselves to the young people in our homeland. Many of them have no idea what exciting and future-proof training and career opportunities are waiting for them right on their doorstep. By participating in the Science Day, we want to show that innovative technology and attractive jobs are not only to be found in big cities. Our goal is to inspire young talent for the region and to show them perspectives so that they can shape their professional future here.
For us, events such as Science Day are far more than just a corporate presentation. They create opportunities for encounter, break down reservations and encourage direct dialogue between schools and business. In this way, we can get young people enthusiastic about technical careers at an early stage while simultaneously making a contribution to the future of our region.
A heartfelt thank you to the grammar school for the invitation and the outstanding organisation. We are already looking forward to the next science day – and perhaps we will see some of you again soon for an internship or apprenticeship at GESA Automation GmbH.
